I've been recording DAT's to CD's. Had a lot of problems at first, with the machine essentially eating the DAT's, but now everything seems to be working smoothly. I'm hellbound to get all of the DAT's recorded before I leave. At this point I have 15 left, and a week and a half to do it. I think it's possible.
Because the DAT's have to record in real time, that means that per DAT I have to hang out for over an hour while it plays, and just be aware when each 'track' ends so I can mark it on the CD. So I've been screwing around on the computer while I wait, watching videos and stumbling and such. I recently downloaded all four seasons of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie," and started watching some today. Except they distract me because they're so funny. So now I'm watching NewsRadio instead.
